Once we know the cause, we explain it with photos, price the repair and carry it out neatly with materials that match your roof.

Leadwork done by hand
Lead is still the best material for many roof details — flashings where the roof meets a wall or chimney, valleys between slopes, and the curved roofs of period bays. It has to be cut, dressed and jointed so it can expand and contract without splitting.
One of our recent jobs was a domed bay roof clad in lead, with each bay dressed to the curve and joined with rolls. It is the kind of traditional detail many London houses have and many roofers avoid.

Can you repair a leak without replacing the whole roof?
Usually, yes. We target the cause — slipped slates, failed flashings, cracked mortar or blocked outlets — and show you before-and-after photos.

Will you work with my insurer?
