A garden room can be an office, a gym, a studio or somewhere to sit out in the evening. We build them in timber and in masonry, and because we also do landscaping, the decking, paths and planting around the building are part of the same project.
Recent projects include a timber garden room with a large deck and stepping-stone path, and a bespoke blockwork garden gym finished with a weatherproof flat roof.

Do I need planning permission?
Many garden rooms fall under permitted development as outbuildings, provided they stay within limits on height, position and the proportion of the garden they cover, and are not used as separate living accommodation. Different rules apply in conservation areas and to listed buildings. We will check before you order.

Yes, with insulation, power and suitable heating. We discuss how you want to use it at the quote stage.
Timber or masonry?
Timber garden rooms are quicker to install; masonry buildings like our recent garden gym are more permanent and can take heavier use.
