What we do

Swift Fix London is a building company first. Alongside roofing and refurbishment, we carry out the general building work that sits behind most projects: brickwork and blockwork, knocking through walls with steels and lintels, building porches and outbuildings, and putting right the fabric of a house.
It means that when a job turns out to need a bit more — a lintel replacing, a wall rebuilding, a new opening forming — we can do it ourselves rather than stopping to find another contractor.

Opening up and knocking through
Removing or opening up a wall is one of the most common ways to modernise a London home. Where a wall is load-bearing, we work to an engineer’s calculations, prop the structure safely, install steels or lintels and coordinate Building Control sign-off. Services are rerouted and the opening is made good ready for plastering.
Garden buildings built properly
A recent example is a bespoke garden gym: blockwork walls, a large glazed opening and a strong, weatherproof flat roof. We also install timber garden rooms, which you can see on our garden rooms page.

Can you remove a load-bearing wall?
Yes, working to an engineer’s design with temporary propping, new steels or lintels, and Building Control sign-off.
Do you do small building jobs?
Yes. We take on smaller building work such as porches, repairs to brickwork and new openings, as well as larger projects.
Can you match my existing brickwork?
We source bricks and mortar to match as closely as possible so new work sits comfortably with the old.
